The midfield gem caught the attention of many clubs this season after successfully impressing with his strong performance for his current club, banging in five goals and notching eight assists in 23 league appearances.

It’s no surprise that, Turkish sides Fenerbeche, Besiktas as well as English and German side, Wolves and Schalke were all said to have enquired about the services of the young midfielder but it’s Galatasaray have jumped ahead of it’s competition to make a solid move.

They have however agreed to pay Kayserispor’s asking price of 3.6 million euros to secure their man.

Mensah’s contract with the Turkish club Kayserispor’s will elapse next season, 2022 but the player wants a new challenge in order to test himself.

The Ghanaian playmaker has been ever present in Turkey, starting out with Kasimpasa on loan, playing a total of 30 games scoring five, moving on to Kayserispor on loan and playing 24 games with three goals before signing on permanatly with them last season.

Hopefully, he successfully secures this move to bolster his professional carer that spans over half a decade.

Former Blackstars goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarsey has left Norwegian club Vålerenga according to the club’s official website.

The shot-stopper’s contract with the club still has four months left to elapse but the two parties decided on agreeing to part ways mutually.

In a recent interview with the club’s website, he expressed his profound gratitude to the club for the opportunity to feature for them, though it was blighted by a number of injuries

“Of course I wish I had the opportunity to achieve something here, but that’s football. Things do not always go smoothly. I am very happy for, and proud to have played with the Vålerenga logo on my chest even in adulthood,

Vålerenga and Valle will always be close to me after spending almost 15 years of my life here. But then it’s like with everything else: Things end sometime. Now is the time to move on. I wish my teammates good luck and hope they can take Vålerenga back to the top of Norwegian football again” he ended.

Though 32-year-old, Kwarsey can feature into his forties before hanging his boots considering most goalkeepers don’t retire as early as the outfield players do.

His portfolio with clubs goes without mentioning spells with Strømsgodset, Portland Timbers, Rosenborg and Brondby, as well as, 24 appearance for his motherland, Ghana.
