News Menu – “Read News” page
The “Read News” page allows you to read general information on the game and details specific to your team and your managerial business.
The general information on the game can include various news from the world of ofootball, updates and changes to the game, etc.
The information specific to the team concerns the sales contracts, information on players (when they become adults or leave the team), etc.
The news has the following format:
Date and time the news or message content was created.
On the bottom left of the news page there is a button delete all news which allows you to delete all the news on the page.
If there is no news on the page you can read: No news available.
Messages Menu – “Your Messages” page
The Your Messages page allows you to view game messages sent by other ofootball managers.
These messages have the following format:
date and time the message was sent, the name and surname of the manager and name of the team, message content.
Under each message there are 4 buttons.
Answer: Allows you to reply to the manager who has sent the message.
By clicking on this button you access the “Send Message” page which specifies the name and surname of the manager (team name in brackets), the message addressee.
Under this information there is a text box where you can type the message to send
Once you have completed the text to send to the manager click the button Send.
You can send messages to another manager from the “Team Details” page or the “Friends List” page. For further information see the related topics.
Add contact to friends list: by clicking on this button you can enter the manager writing the message in your list of ofootball manager friends list. You automatically go to the “friends list” page (see “Friends List” page).
Delete message: by clicking on this button you can delete the message in question. Confirmation is requested in a dialogue window that asks whether you want to delete the message. There are 2 buttons, OK that delete the message for good and Cancel which closes the window and goes back to the My Messages page without deleting the message.
offensive message?: This button allows you to automatically send a notification to the game operators. Confirmation is requested in a dialogue window that asks if we consider a message to be offensive. There are 2 buttons under this request, OK that will send the message to the operators and Cancel to close the window and go back to the My Messages page.
The operators automatically receive the name of the sender, the addressee and the message content. If this message is considered offensive, measures will be taken for the addressee. If a sender sends multiple messages considered offensive, which in reality are not, he or she may have measures taken against them
Messages Menu – “Friends List” page
The Friends List page allows you to view your list of “friend” managers in ofootball and to find other managers in the game.
The page simply consists a list of names and surnames of managers entered on a list and
the team name, a button that allows you to access the “Team Details” page (see topic “team details”);
There are two buttons to the right of each friend:
Write message: allowing you to access the “send message” page and write a message to the manager (see topic “My messages”).
Delete friend: This allows you to delete a manager from the list of manager friends. Confirmation is requested in a dialogue window asking if you want to delete the friend. Under this request there are 2 buttons, OK that deletes the friend from the list and Cancel to close the window and go back to the Friends List page without deleting the manager.
If you have no friends on the list, the list remains empty.
There is a button over the list of manager friends Find managers. By clicking on this button you access the “Search Manager” page with a window to enter text and a drop-down menu that allows you to find a manager by name and/or surname, or by team name.
Once you enter the name you are looking for (at least three characters), start the search by pressing the button Find.
If the search is successful you will obtain a list of managers, composed of: the manager’s name and surname, team name (which you can click to enter the “Team Details” page, add to friends list (you can click to add the manager to your list of friends; see above) and send message (you can click to send a message to the manager, see topic “My messages”.
If the search produces no results you will see the writing No team found if you search by team and No manager found if you search by manager’s name and/or surname
